Writing competition time: calling all creative writers Year 9 - 13!
Competition:
William Wordsworth was concerned with the effects of the industrial revolution on man's relationship with nature, and he worried that "little can we see in nature that is ours".
During this lockdown time of 'stay at home and stay safe', many of us are increasingly appreciating the wonders of the natural world around us, yearning for places we miss, and perhaps reminiscing about places, events and activities linked with nature.
So, for the 6th annual Hengistbury Head Writing Competition, we invite you to submit poems or stories on the broad theme of 'Nature and Me'.
