Corfe Hills School

Governors

Governance Structure 2021 - 2022

In accordance with the school’s Articles of Association and Funding Agreement, Corfe Hills School Academy Trust has two layers of governance, the members and the trustees or governors.

There are currently seven members, who have oversight of governance and the school’s charitable status.

There are currently fifteen governors, who have a strategic role, they are responsible for ensuring clarity of vision and ethos and strategic direction. They hold the school to account for its educational performance and organisation and they oversee its financial performance. Governors have a wide range of skills and experience and they organise themselves into four key committees, Finance and Resources, Personnel, Standards and Curriculum and Audit and Risk. The committees meet at least three times a year and report to the Full Governing Board, which meets twice each term.

Governors are an integral part of the school and its community. To contact the Chair of Governors please email clerk@corfehills.net.
